Comedian Raju Srivastava left for his heavenly abode on September 21 after being hospitalised for 41 days. The comedian and actor was 58 years old. He was rushed to AIIMS in Delhi on August 10 after suffering from a cardiac arrest. He also suffered from severe brain damage.
The post-mortem of Srivastava was conducted at AIIMS through a new technique called a virtual autopsy. As per the Head of Forensic Medicine department Dr Sudhir Gupta at AIIMS, the whole process took only 15 to 20 minutes, after which the body of the comedian was handed over to his family members. Raju Srivastava’s last rites will be performed on Thursday (September 22) in Delhi.
