With over 15 years of experience in Mass Fatality and Disaster Management, Response & Training, Roma is also a qualified Forensic Scientist with experience and specialisation in Forensic Archaeology, Anthropology and Crime Scene Investigations. Roma has held a senior position managing Corporate Social Responsibility profile and worked with NGOs for several years. Roma is the international advisor for AFFIC, Colombia and is a member of Forensic Associations IAMLE, MLAM in India. In addition to her professional schedule, she also helps the local police in homicide investigations on a pro-bono basis. She regularly volunteers towards social causes.

Dr. Vinay R Hallikeri

Dr Vinay R Hallikeri is MD in Forensic Medicine from the prestigious JN medical college, Karnataka, India. His areas of expertise includes; advanced technology in Postmortem imaging or minimally invasive autopsy, Forensic Pathology, Forensic Toxicology, Forensic Traumatology, Preventive health care, Crime scene investigation, Forensic Ballistics and Herpetology. His achievements over 15 years include working extensively in India and International in countries such as Ethiopia, Malaysia, Mauritius and the United Kingdom within the Forensic Sciences domain and as a Medico-legal consultant and is currently serving VAFS as Chief Medical officer. Trained from the higly respected and one of the premier and pioneer institute in Postmortem CT scan in forensic imaging, the Victoria Institute of Forensic Medicine, Australia, currently he is one of the few forensic experts with first hand working experience in PMCT technology internationally. He has several publications under his name and is actively involved in carrying out research in PMCT technology. He is also a passionate tennis player and has keen interest in gardening and trekking.

She is an entrepreneur and a dedicated enthusiast having spent over 35 years in providing services relating to Disaster Response, Disaster Victim Identification, Family Assistance, Repatriation, Emergency Response Preparedness and Training under the flagship as Director Australasia and Pacific region at Blake Emergency Services. She was the operations head in Australia for Supplier of Dodge Embalming Chemicals, accessory chemicals, equipment and training to the Funeral Industry. Her passion in the ‘Death Care’ industry is well known. Her endless academic qualification and achievements ranges from Diploma V from Academy of Forensic Medical Sciences, UK, being awarded as a Goodwill Ambassador to Australia by the Fountain National Academy of Professional Embalming skills, Elected, as a Chairperson of the British Institute of Embalmers (Australasian Division), delivering Basic Post Mortem Reconstructive Surgery Skills, providing Mortuary training to the Funeral Industry incorporating Australasian Funeral Industry Training Services, member of Australasian Academy of Post Mortem Reconstructive Surgery, American Society of Embalmers and the National Funeral Directors Association in USA to name a few. When she is not working Jan is empowering herself to becoming a Yoga and reiki specialist to help transform people’s lives!

With over 25 years of experience in this field, he has made remarkable contributions to the development of Forensic Medicine & Sciences. He currently holds the position of Professor and Head of Department, Assam Medical College and the editor in chief of International Journal of health Research & Medico legal Practice. He has won several awards from IAMLE, ICFMT for his outstanding contribution in the field of Forensic Medicine & Toxicology. Dr. Mahanta is the editor of the Modern Textbook of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology and has published over 60 articles with contributions made in 58 textbooks chapters. He is the life member of the Indian Academy of Forensic Medicine, Indo Pacific Academy of Forensic Odontology, Indo Pacific Academy of Forensic Nursing Science, National Foundation of Clinical Forensic Medicine, Indian Association of Medico-Legal Experts, Life member of Medico-legal Society of Assam, Indian Medical Association, Indian Congress of Forensic Medicine & Toxicology, Founder Member of Academy of Health Research and Medical Education, Academy of Health Professions Educators and was the former Joint Secretary (East Zone) of Indian Academy of Forensic Medicine, the largest Academic Organization of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology. He was the founder general secretary of the Medico-legal Society of Assam.

After becoming medical graduate from Shri M.P. Shah Medical College, Jamnagar (Gujarat) in 1991, Dr. Jani acquired post graduate qualifications as MD (Pathology), MD (Forensic Medicine) and DNB (Forensic Medicine) while catering service as a faculty in the same college. In addition, he pursued post graduate certificate course (Hospital Management) from National Institute of Health & Family Welfare, New Delhi and LL.B from Sardar Patel University, Anand (Gujarat). He has catered services as teaching faculty in the Department of Forensic Medicine & Toxicology at Medical Colleges in Gujrat. With over 28 years of experience in the field of Forensic Medicine, Dr. Jani is currently a medico legal practitioner at JSM Medico Legal Associates, Gujrat. He is also on the editorial board of several National journals and presented several lectures in various associations since 2001.

Dr. Shiv Rattam Kochar

Dr. Kochar completed his MBBS in 1981 and since then there was no looking back. With over 25 years of experience specially in the field of Forensic Medicine (FM), Dr. Kochar is a university in himself. Being the 1st PG in MD FM from University of Rajasthan to the Founder & Professor in FM at Shri Kalyan Govt. Medical College, Rajasthan there are several achievements under his belt. During his tenure he has been training undergraduates, PG Diploma students and MD FM students in Clinical Forensic Medicine and Toxicology. His unique academic qualification as Pathologist and Forensic Pathologist has been much appreciated and is an asset to the court of law and to the subject of Forensic Medicine. He has authored, co-authored and contributed chapters in over 10 text books in Forensic Medicine and Toxicology which is regarded very helpful to the students. He has conducted about 10,000 postmortems and similar in number for trainee PGs. He has also been an assessor for the NMC (Medical Council of India) and assessed development of facilities or construct new ones, reviewing undergraduates and PG courses in and around Rajasthan. He has been appointed as an External Examiner in various Health Sciences institutes all over India. Since 2017 until 2020 he was posted at the Directorate of Medical Education, Government of Rajasthan as Technical Advisor for procurement of equipment, recruitment, infrastructure development etc. for the 30 New Medical Colleges proposed. He has received several awards, appreciation and certificates from the Indian Academy of Forensic Medicine (IAFM), Indian Society of Toxicology for his contribution to the Forensic Medicine subject and presently holds the position as President of the Rajasthan Chapter of IAFM.

Dr CAL Davenport PhD BSc (Hons) AFHEA RPA FRAI, is a practising forensic anthropologist and archaeologist with over 10 years’ experience, undertaking work globally in the areas of DVI, forensic identification and archaeological/anthropological investigation. Dr Davenport is the current Honorary Secretary for the British Association for Human Identification, a Fellow of the Royal Anthropological Institute, a Registered Professional Archaeologist (RPA) and Member of the British Association for Forensic Anthropology. Alongside advocating for the continued improvement in teaching practices within the field of forensics, Dr Davenport undertakes regular forensic and archaeological casework involving human identification.

Dr. Delgado is a qualified Anthropologist, Archaeologist from the Universidad de Los Andes with master’s in forensic archaeology, crime scene and international investigations from Bournemouth University, UK and PgDip in Human Rights, criminal investigation and criminal procedural law. Over the last 15 years she has worked as the founder and CEO of ‘AFFIC Foundation’ which is a non-profit, scientific, investigative, objective, impartial and confidential entity that works for the protection of Human Rights and equal access to justice for Colombians through forensic sciences, criminal investigation and the interdisciplinary analysis of criminal policy. AFFIC supports the victims and the defence through the individual interdisciplinary analysis of each case, providing specialized advice and consulting, making recommendations and accompaniment, developing strategies and carrying out counter-expert reports in the different areas of forensic science and criminal. She is also trained in disaster management.

Kathleen S Conabree

A highly motivated scientist, and philanthropist at heart, Kathleen Conabree has devoted 30+ years of her life to social work, forensic sciences as well as disaster response and management activities. Teaching and training comes naturally to her and she has worked with renowned institutes in both England and Canada. In 2016-2017 she worked as an Independent Volunteer in Italy & Greece in the management of Syrian/Afghan refugees through life-threatening crises, developing & delivering Asylum training programmes for NGOs, government officials & other stakeholders. She has over 15 years of mass fatality incident experience as Emergency Response personnel. Kathleen won the Queen Elizabeth II Scholarship award for academic excellence and was also shortlisted for Inspiring Women Awards. Her creative skills from writing, painting & photography to construction or gardening, and adventurous skills in archery, horseback riding, fishing and many more, keep her occupied in peace time. Her ongoing contribution to the Forensic sciences is noteworthy and makes her a versatile and gifted professional.

With a Masters degree in Forensic Archaeology, Oriana joined Blake Emergency Services and holds the position as a Client and Training Coordinator. She has over 7 years of experience in the Field of Disaster Response and Management and has been deployed for several Air Crash incidents. During deployments she has closely worked with the INTERPOL, Local Police authorities and Embassies to help the families of those who perished in the incident. She also has successfully completed the IATA Emergency Planning and Response course in Singapore and is a qualified AVSEC Threat Assessor Instructor. She has received the best Instructor Award in Education and Training in 2018 at AVSEC. She is an experienced and qualified trainer in Disaster Response and has been training several clients in the Aviation Industry over these years. She has contributed her skills in Forensic Archaeology and Anthropology and assisted in Cemetery excavation and analysis projects. She has volunteered for several causes including Covid support and vaccination drives in the UK.
